Cod fish is an essential fish in the Nordic region and its cuisine. Traditionally in Norway it is served as "Skreimølje" which is cooked cod served with the cooked roe and liver, served with potatoes on the side. This is a nutritional protein bomb, also high in the marine Omega-3 Fatty Acids. A meal of this traditional dish provides the recommended daily intake of Omega-3.
Due to the prime condition of this hard swimming Cod, it have extra firm muscles, firm and delicate white meat.
